Talking About Zhi Daolin“What I mind is its' soul”

对于东晋佛学与玄学的发展而言 ,支道林起到了特殊的作用。他综贯内典外书 ,援庄入释 ,又引佛入道 ,不仅创立了即色宗 ,而且领袖玄谈。本文拟以《世说新语》所载支公事迹 ,对其玄、佛之思想及魏晋之社会风气略作探讨。

To the development of Buddhism and Xuan Xue (Wei-jin Metaphysics) ,Zhi Daolin plays a specil role.He masters the theories of Buddhism and Xuan Xue, merges the two theories.He not only creats Ji Se Sect of Buddhism,but leads the debate about Xuan Xue.This paper, mainly with reference to the records in 'Shi Shuo Xin Yu',plans to briefly discuss the thoughts of Buddhism and Xuan Xue of Zhi Daolin,and the general mood of the Wei-jin periods.
