To live a single life without marriage or children is a personal choice of life style, which deviates from the mainstream cultural norm and living mode. Although this living strategy itself poses no moral obstruction in the society on the whole, yet it embodies a value principle to 'live for the sake of the self.' It could be defined as 'three selfisms,' which is made up of 'self will, self choice and selfishness.
