Educational innovation is the inevitable choice for colleges and universities. In order to carry out the strategy of striding development, the following measures must be adopted: grasping the connotations of economics and pedagogy in educational innovation: emphasizing originality in scientific research to train high level innovative talents; locating the breakthrough in the development in order to carry out effective discipline building and raise the level of high density academic organizations in discipline building; and improving cultural construction in order to realize the transition of operational mechanism.
