摘要
非晶硅材料的开关速度及驱动电流小,无法用于液晶显示的驱动集成电路。而多晶硅具有两方面的优势:一是高迁移率(10~100cm^2/V·s),可为象素提供足够大的电流以达到高速驱动;二是行扫描器以及灰度等级驱动器可在显示器的玻片上制成,这将大大地降低学引线的数目、价格和增加可靠性。
Poly-Si Technology possesses two advantages:1)The higher mobility of poly-Si TFTs(10-100cm^2/V·s)ensure the pixel switching current large enough for high drive velocity;2)Row scanners and gray-scale column drivers can be fabricated on the glass plate.This method can greatly reduce the number of external leads,decrease the cost and increase the reliability.
