The philosophy of Zhou Yi and the Taoist culture

同为中国古老传统文化,周易哲学和道教文化之间有着千丝万缕的联系。道教思想体系的形成深受周易哲学的影响,包括其长生不老的神仙信仰,其创世纪说,五行方位说,其符系统,丹道理论,以及其中蕴涵的辩证法思想。而魏晋时期,士族学者也以老庄学说为核心的玄学来解释周易,使易学得到了发展。

This article probes into the connection between the philosophy of Zhou Yi and the Taoism culture. The ideology of Taoism had been deeply influenced by the philosophy of Zhou Yi, including its belief of immortal, its theory of genesis, its theory of five agents and directions, its system of talismans and registers, its theory of Alchemical Skills as well as its dialectic thought. On the other hand, the scholar-bureaucrat in the dynasties of Wei and Jin had developed the science of Zhou Yi by means of interpreting Zhou Yi with Master Zhuang’s metaphysics.
