New image compression by biorthogonal multiwavelets

摘要  选择由Hwee等人构造的长度为6/6的双正交多小波,采用改进的零树编码,对图像进行压缩处理.结果表明,该方法与已有的小波压缩方法相比,其特点为压缩比较高且失真小. In this paper,it discuss new image compression by biorthogonal multiwavelet transform.It use biorthogonal multiwavelet with the length 6/6 constructed by Hwee and improved zerotree code method for image compression.Experimental results show that the proposed method has many advantages over those available,such as high compression ratio and small distortion,etc.
