湿地是地球上具有多种功能的独特生态系统,也是自然界最富生物多样性的生态景观和人类最重要的生存环境之一,被人们誉为"地球之肾"。仅占地球表面积6%的湿地资源,却为世界上20%的生物提供了生境。国内外许多学者从经济学角度评价湿地的经济价值,阐述保护湿地的重要性。作者运用市场价值法、影子工程法、机会成本法和替代花费法等评价方法评估泉州湾湿地自然保护区的生态总体价值为134406 02万元。

Wetlands have many functions of special ecosystems on the Earth.Being one of the ecological scenery,the richest regions of biodiversity and the most important living space,they have been described as 'the kidney of the Earth'.The wetland resources have maintained 20% lives,though occupying 6% the surface area of the Earth.Many scholars estimate the economic values of wetlands from the economic view to describe importance of protecting wetlands.Valuation methods such as market valuation method,shadow engineering method,opportunity cost method and substitute expense method etc.are mainly used to the Quanzhouwan Wetland Nature Reserve.It's worth about 1.34 billion yuan.
