On the basis of systematical inspection of the course of change of the Ming-Dynasty's Zhengtong bronze statue showing acupoints, the bronze statue showing acupoints at the National Ermitage Museum in St. Petersburg in Russia is affirmed as the Ming-Dynasty's Zhengtong bronze statue showing acupoints, and at the same time, the Zhengtong bronze statue with acupoints is confirmed as the imitation of Song-Dynasty's Tiansheng bronze statue, and it can be seen as an authoritative explanation for the Song-Dynasty's national criteria of acupuncture points, the Tongren Shuxue Zhenjiu Tujing (illustrated manual of points for acupuncture and moxibustion on a bronze statue with acupoints). This important discovery clarifies different comprehension of people on the location of acupoints in the Illustrated Manual. And based on this, various disputations about identification of the bronze statue with acupoints handed down from ancient times in academic circles in recent 100 years are further clarified.
