There are more demands to the asphalt pavement of the modern highway and more modified asphalts are being used here.But there are many problems to the modifier choice and dosage determination.The paper analyzes the characteristics of the modifiers and puts forward the modifier choice principle and the dosage determination methods in terms of road performance demands,climate characteristics and economic properties.
