摘要
家长教育工作是社会工作的一个主要范畴,家庭生活教育在香港已有二十多年的发展历史。而在其他国家例如在新加坡、澳洲、家长教育工作亦以不同的模式推行。然而,家长教育的推行,建基于对家庭及父母角式的理念价值。由于文化的差异,西方及华人社会对父母角色、子女意义、家庭功能、亲职教育以至家长教育,都有不同的诠释。本研究透过了解新加坡、台湾、香港及澳洲在家长教育的推行情况,探讨家长教育的目的和定义。并因应华人社会的文化背景和特质,检视家长教育在华人社会的推行模式和工作方向。
Parental education is one of the most important part in social work, and family life education have been existing in Hongkong for more than 20 years. And in other countries such as in Singapore and Australia, it is carried out in different models. However, because of cultural differences, both western and Chinese society has different explanations for parental role, children's value, family function and even parental education. In this paper, the author studies the situation of carrying out the parental education in Singapore, Taiwan, Hongkong and Australia, and then discusses its purpose and definition. According to the cultural backgrounds and character of the parental education,the author sets forth the model of carrying out the parental education and its working direction in Chinese society.
