伏羲八卦与八元数

THE FUXI EIGHT DIAGRAMS AND THE OCTONIONS

说明了19世纪西方人发明八元数的构造方法与我国古代邵雍(1011～1077)建立先天八卦的方法是一致的,并在先天八卦与八元数的基元之间建立了一种数学意义上的同构.

It is showed that the constructing method of the octonions discovered by the Westerners in 19th century is the same with that used by a Chinese ancient people Shao Yong(1011～1077) in setting up the Primordial Eight Diagrams. Furthermore, an isomorphism between the Primordial Eight Diagrams and the basic elements of the octonions is given.
