Comparison between Chinese Topic and English Topic and Chinese English Translation

汉语的话题结构往往置于句首,是汉语固有的语序,英语的话题隐藏在宾语中的情况非常普遍。因此,在汉译英中往往将置于句首的汉语话题转换成英语句子中的宾语。

Chinese topic is always placed at the beginning of a sentence and regarded as normal word order. English topic is often hidden as the object of a sentence. Therefore, in translation from Chinese to English, Chinese topic is frequently arranged as object of English sentence.
