A New Explanation on "JI QIU

"箕裘"典出《礼记·学记》.长期以来,学术界多从唐孔颖达疏之说,将"箕裘"之"裘"错作"皮衣"、"皮袍"解.文章根据文献资料和冶金史研究所得,对这一典故作了新的诠释.

Ji Qiu' as a literary quotation,first appeared in Li Ji·Xue Ji (《礼记·学记》).Most of the researchers followed Kong Ying-da of Tang Dynasty,annotating 'Qiu' of 'Ji Qiu' as 'fur-lined jacket' or 'leathern gown'.Based on the ancient literature and the study on the history of metallurgy,a new explanation was made in this essay.
