摘要
学习词汇是语言学习的最基本的手段,也是运用语言的先决条件。多年来,由于我们对词汇学习的错误看法,认为词汇是语言学习中最简单的事情,词汇教学一直被忽视。近年来,随着语义学等理论发展和引入,中国词汇教学与研究在大学英语教学研究中的地位日益受到研究者、广大教师和学习者的重视。本文旨在探索语义学等理论在大学英语词汇教学中的运用,促进学生词汇习得。
Vocabulary knowledge is the basic me ans of language learning and also the precondition of lan-guage using.For many years,the role of vocabulary knowledge has been neglected because of some mis-understanding toward vocabulary le arning.Researchers,teachers and l earner have been paying much atten-tion to the vocabulary knowledge in C ollege English along with the further development of'Semantic Theo-ry'and other vocabulary learning and te aching theories.The purpose of this article is to discuss the ped-agogic implications of these theories for College English vocabulary in struction.
