摘要
逐步放松资本管制,推进人民币资本项目可兑换,是目前中国主动适应对外经济发展、因应入世要求的客观选择,但从根本上说能否顺利实现人民币资本项目可兑换,取决于经济基本因素和宏观经济政策的协调。
In order to fit in with the needs of its external economic expansion and conform to the requirements of its WTO entry, China should loosen the capital regulation and proceed with the convertibility of RMB capital account, which is considered as the objective choice. However, whether this convertibility can be fulfilled smoothly or not entirely relies on the basic economic factors and the coordination of macroeconomic policy.
