宽带卫星网微波副载波光调制系统方案 被引量:2

A Novel Scheme of Laser Modulation Directly by Microwave Subcarriers in Satellite Broadband Networks

摘要 为简化星上光调制过程和星间光路由,基于宽带卫星网的特点,利用微波副载波对激光的直接调制,提出了一种新型星上光调制技术方案,建立了系统分析模型,给出了具体的相关实现技术.该方案引入了"目标卫星流"聚合、交换的技术和副载波频率重用的新概念,有效减轻了卫星的处理负荷,提高了系统在微波层和光层对频谱资源的利用效率.仿真结果表明,通过实施波长控制技术和增加光调制指数等措施,可以有效提高系统载噪比. In order to simplify the optical modulation process and optical routing in satellite networks, a novel scheme was presented using laser modulation directly by microwave sub-carriers based on characteristics of the satellite broadband networks. The system analytic model was set up and the relative technical methods were developed. The converging and switching techniques of 'target-satellite data streams' and a new concept of subcarrier's reuse are introduced which reduce the satellite processing burden dramatically and utilize the network resources on both microwave and wavelength layers with a higher efficiency. The analytic results on system CNR (Carrier-Noise-Rate) and the computer simulation show that the system CNR can be improved greatly by utilizing the wavelength controlling and increasing the optical modulation index.
