On the Effect between Chinese Culture and Chinese Characters

阐述了汉字的形成、发展与中国文化的相互关系。主要表现在以古代巫史为代表的精英文化直接促进了汉字的形成;在发展中又与儒家文化相辅相成,构成了中国文化的核心文化;现代社会越来越多的受众体使汉字成为一种不可或缺的大众文化。

Chinese characters and culture is a newly emerging subject. This essay illustrates the great impact on Chinese culture from the emergence and the development of Chinese characters. It is discovered that the sorcery history as the main representative, the quintessence culture directly promote emergence of the Chinese characters. During the long time of development, the sorcery history and Confucian culture complement each other and constitute the center of the Chinese culture. New more and more people are in favor of the Chinese characters, thus Chinese characters have become a kind of mass culture, which can't be neglected.
