On Urbanization and the Social Development of Jilin Province

从发展社会学角度讲,城市中心战略对加快社会现代化进程是至为关键的,发展大中城市从而带动区域经济已成为共识。吉林省的社会发展也应遵循这一规律,即发挥中心城市聚集辐射作用,以发展外向型经济和高新技术产业为突破口,从而带动全省经济的发展。

From the angle of developing sociology,the urban center strategy is very critical to increase the process of social modernization.It is agreed that developing the big and middle cities can influence the regional economy.The social development of Jilin province should also obey this rule,that is,to untilize the center cities's funtion of aggregation and radiation.By choosing the extrovert type economy and high and new technique industry as the breakthrough,it can lead the whole province's economic development.
