21世纪思想政治工作必须在"三个代表"重要思想指导下,继承优良传统,以人为本,求真务实,创新观念、内容、方法、手段、机制等;不断提高政工干部素质,组织课题攻关,探索新规律、新理论,逐步实现思想政治工作科学化、现代化,充分调动群众的积极性、创造性,更有效地为建设中国特色的社会主义服务。

The ideological-political work in the 21st century must be developed under 'the three representatives', inheriting the good tradition and putting man and truth on the focus of the work. The ideology, the contents, the methods and systems must be renovated actively. The workers respansible for this field must be promoted in their art of leadership. In order to serve the socialist construction the activity and renovation of the mass must be encouraged and energized.
