Confucian Living Attitude and Its Modern Value

“中庸”之道之根本方法论形成了儒家的入世精神。入世精神的基本内涵包括天人合一的宇宙观、修身齐家治国平天下一理的处世观、取财有道且寡欲的义利观 ,其出发点和归宿就是将人植根于其生活于中的自然界和人际间 ,从而为现世的人营造一个和谐的自然环境和稳定有序的社会环境。入世精神对于当今保护生态环境、实施可持续发展战略、加强公民道德教育、建立国际政治新秩序有一定的借鉴意义。

The basic methodology of 'Mean' develops into Confucian living attitude including view on the universe: harmony between man and nature,view on walking: the similarity among cultivating morality,uniting the family and running the whole country,and view on profit: getting money legally with few desire,from which we can see that they put man in the world natural and human. Therefore,a harmony natural environment and an order social environment are created. In nowadays we need to protect the ecological environment,carry out strategy of sustainable development and reinforce citizens' morality to establish a fresh system of the international politics. We can learn something from Confucian living attitude.
