Differences between Chinese and English Thought Patterns and English Writing

不同文化的民族有各自不同的思维方式 ,思维方式制约着语言结构 ,从而导致不同的语言表达形式。如果根据中国人的思维方式进行英语写作 ,那势必会在语序、句法、段落结构等方面产生许多错误。因此我们有必要让学生了解西方民族的思维方式 ,以提高他们的英语写作能力。

Different thought patterns,which exist in different cultures,restrict the language structures.Plenty of mistakes occur in Chinese students' compositions in language orders,sentence structures and paragraph structures,because they begin with their own thought pattern in their English writing.Thus,it is quite necessary for them to know about English thought pattern in order to develop their competence for English writing.
