A Masterpiece Specializing in the Research of Synonyms——A Review of A Research of Synonyms in Mencius

《〈孟子〉同义词研究》以作者所建《孟子》数据库为基本语料,采用“双重印证法”考释和辨析同义词,归纳出《孟子》同义词的七种格式,并从语言内部、语言外部详细探讨了同义词形成的原理,从同义词这一侧面描写了上古汉语词汇史的面貌,探讨了上古汉语专书词汇研究的方法与理论。

Based on the corpus established by the writer himself from Mencius, the writer of A Research of Synonyms in Mencius, discriminated the synonyms by “double corroboration”and induced seven patterns of synonyms in Mencius. The writer of the book explored in detail the forming principles of synonyms from both inside and outside of language, described the features of ancient Chinese vocabulary from the perspective of synonyms, and probed into the methodology and principles of the vocabulary research in ancient Chinese monographs.
