This paper discusses a WLAN and cellular networks interworking mechanism,which can provide most of the data services at very high data rates in hotspot locations. It mainly discusses the general ideas about GPRS and WLAN interworking and analyzes the architecture of two networks' interworking. In conclusion it points out the advantages and drawbacks of this interworking architecture.
