网络磁盘阵列中虚拟高速网络接口的研究与实现 被引量:2

摘要 网络磁盘阵列通过实行命令与数据的分离极大地提高了系统的吞吐能力和服务器的平均响应速度 ,但系统瓶颈也随之从服务器转移到了网络磁盘阵列的网络接口上 .本文采用虚拟技术 ,基于实时嵌入式 L inux平台 ,把多个物理网络适配器 ( NIC)虚拟成一个虚拟网络配器 ( VNIC) ,通过多个 NIC的并行工作来提高网络接口的带宽 .理论分析和测试结果表明 ,这一策略重叠了多个 NIC的数据发送和接收时间 ,实现了流水并行 。 Net RAID performance is greatly improved with the separation of command and data, but system bottleneck is transferred from server to the network interface of Net RAID too. This paper proposes an innovational method which bonds multiple NIC together as one Virtual Network Interface Card (VNIC) based on real time embedded Linux platform, the method upgrades network interface bandwidth with the parallel work of multiple NIC. Theory analysis and test result show that this policy overlaps data sending and receiving time and realizes pipeline parallelism, and improves system performance obviously.
