摘要
RMON(Remote Monitor)的目的就是要测定、收集、管理网络的性能参数。在LAN环境下,RMON可观测的范围小,且工具的价格昂贵,但在某些特殊网段的数据收集和解析中,RMON是最好的工具,通常做法是使用优秀的采样方法观测网络的关键点,如LAN中通信量集中的地方和发生了问题的部位等。本文应用RMON技术研究了一个中型园区网的各种网络行为,并提出了优化网络性能的措施。
RMON(Remote Monitor) is a remote network monitoring technique. It can measure, collect and manage the network parameters, but on the LAN, the measurable range of RMON is not wide, the tools and software are expensive. However, RMON is the best tool for the special network area. This paper research all kind of action of a middle intranet with ameliorative sampling algorithms based on RMON, then put forward an improvability scheme.
