简析孔子权变灵活的思想与行为方式

孔子是礼教的遵守与执行者,要求人们严格按照礼制规范说话行事,不能违背,不能僭越;但他并不死板拘泥,而是在思想与行为方式上,具体问题具体分析,体现出鲜明的权变特色。因此孔子本人的形象也显出几分灵活机智,不像后世道学家们笔下所塑造的那样道貌岸然,枯燥乏趣。

Abided by the social order, Confucius claimed that the people should behave according to the social institution strictly, neither break nor exceed. However he was not rigid, moreover dealt with the specific things distinguishingly, which give us the expression of adaptability. Therefore Confucius himself should be flexible and nimble-witted but not in dignified appearance and stodgy just like what the moralist characterized in the later generations.
