摘要
由于具有并行处理以及良好的扩展性等特性,在构建大型并行计算系统中直连网络是一种较受欢迎的连接方式。目前直连网络已经广泛地应用于多处理器系统、多计算机系统,集群系统以及太比特路由器中。交换机制的选择直接影响了直连网络系统的性能。文中总结了直连网络交换机制的特点,对主要的几种交换机制进行了分析比较,并展望了其发展趋向。
Having such properties as parallel computing and scalability, the direct interconnection network is a popular interconnection architecture for constructing large-scale parallel computers. It is currently being widely used in the multi-processor, multi-computer, cluster system and terabit router. The performance of the direct interconnection network depends largely on the properties of the switching mechanism. This paper first gives a survey of the switching mechanism, then conducts a comparative analysis of the popular switching mechanism and finally presents the future trend of the switching mechanism with emphasis on QoS provision by the hybrid switching mechanism.
