从超文本文学所具有的多元化、跳跃性、发散性的基本特征与中国传统思维方式的比较分析得出:中国传统思维的混沌性与超文本文学的不确定性,中国传统思维的直觉和感悟与超文本文学的发散性,中国传统的"天人合一"的思维方式与超文本文学的审美境界有惊人的相似之处。

Hypertext literature is a new kind of literary mode which came into being with the emergence of network hypertext technology. Some of its basic characteristics are pluralistic, jumpy, radiation. It happens to comply with the traditional Chinese mode of thinking This paper aims at discussing this point from three aspects: vagueness of traditional Chinese thinking and uncertainty of hypertext literature; intuition, apperception of traditional Chinese thinking and radiation of hypertext literature; oneness of heaven and man, which is traditional Chinese thinking mode, and aesthetic horizon of hypertext literature.
