摘要
本文讨论中国史学史的三个向来有争议的旧题 :中国传统史学与中世纪统治学说的相关度 ;所谓经史致用式的道德反思命题 ,与中世纪主流史学的相关度 ;倘若从历史学属于人文学科的特定研究对象之一的角度 ,它本身在中国的历史进程 ,怎么写 ,写什么 ,才算较为近似地映照中国史学已经消逝和尚未终结的整体面貌。旧话重提 ,无非为了自己清问题 ,期使中国史学史的讲授或撰述 ,不再陈陈相因。
This paper discusses three old but controversial topics. First,the correlativity between traditional Chinese historiography and the middle ages' dominating theory. Second,the correlativity between the proposition to re-examine the tradition morally in order to be practical and the mainstream of the historiography of the middle ages. Last but not least,taking history itself as one of the specific study objects of the humanities,how to write and what to write about its development in China in order to show the macrocosm of the Chinese history which has gone but hasn't vanished yet. The purpose to mention these old topics again is to clear up my own mind,and thus to tell something new in my teaching or writing concerning the history of Chinese historiography,the history of historical concept,communication and comparison between historiography of China and that of other countries.
