Brief Comments on Disorder of Honesty and Credit in Developing of Socialist Market Economy

诚信是市场机制运行的基础和灵魂。在中国社会主义市场经济发展中,诚信严重失范,主要是由于中国传统诚信的局限性、法律和经济制度的缺位和滞后及政府行为失范等原因造成的。诚信失范问题必须通过营造诚信的社会大环境,确立诚信的标尺和平台,建立信用体系和诚信制度,以及重树政府诚信形象等方式来解决。

Honesty and credit are the foundation of market working system and the soul for the development of economic market. However in the development of Chinese economic market, they are being more and more disordered. The main causes of this phenomenon lie in the limitation of traditional view about it, the unconsummated of legal system, the disorder of government behaviors, etc. To solve this problem, it is necessary to build up the platform of laws, to strengthen education for credibility, to fasten the construction of economic system and to rebuild the government image.
