摘要
The rejuvenation and modernization of the Northeast China traditional industrial baseraises a major strategic issue concerning whether China can comprehensively and rapidlypush forward its industrialization and modernization drive. This article analyses the gap inthe levels of industrial modernization between Northeast China and other regions, from theperspectives of industrial labor productivity, industrial equipment, industrial structure,capacity of industrial technical innovation and industrial sustainable development. Thearticle also takes the slow progress in marketization as the root cause of the gap and putsforward some suggestions and countermeasures for promoting market-orientated reformand accelerating the industrial modernization process in this region.
