Development of Urban Forest Ecosystem in Yan'an City

延安城市森林建设的目标是把延安建成生态环境优良、城市景观多变、文化内涵丰富的生态园林城市,城市森林建设从市中心到郊区建立三个绿化生态圈,第一圈是城市防污调气美化生态圈,第二圈是近郊美化、防护、农林果生产带生态圈,第三圈是远郊水源涵养、水土保持、风沙防护、林果生产林生态圈。近郊美化、防护、农林果生产带生态圈是近期建设中心。

The goal of urban forest development in Yan'an city is to establish an ecological garden city with fine ecological environment and diversity of city landscape and intensive culture. From city center to suburb, 3 circles of ecological buffer zones should be established. The first one is for pollution control, air purification and esthetics. The second one is for near suburb beautification, protection and agricultural and fruit production, and the third one is for preservation of water resources, water and soil conservation and the dust storm control, forests for fruit production. According to different natural conditions and humanities at different locations or scenery sites, different measures should be taken for ecological improvement.
