Where Can the Psyche Rest in Peace?:An Investigation into the Mortuary Customs of Lijiahe Village in Laohekou City,Hubei Province

本文记叙了湖北省襄樊地区老河口市李家河农村二次葬的过程，并试图探讨李家河二次葬的性质、二次葬从古到今的历史、李家河二次葬长期存在的原因。

The mass of the people choose inhumation and cremation as a funeral is the last great event of life;but there are a few minorities who have their special funerals,such as celestial burial,hanging coffin burial.Now I'm talking about Twice Burial,an old mortuary custom.Nowadays some districts of the Han nationality still adopt this mortuary type,so I choose Lijiahe Village in Laohekou City,Xiangfan region,Hubei Province as a case.This paper narrates the process of the local Twice Burial,and tries to discuss the essence,history of Twice Burial of Lijiahe Village.
