摘要
外籍教师在中国的 ESL(English as a Second L anguage)教学受到了许多教师和专家的广泛关注。本文以问卷形式对四位在江西教育学院任教的英籍教师 ESL 课堂教学原则、教学方法、教学效果与存在的问题等进行了调查与分析。结果显示 :英籍教师的 ESL 课堂教学虽然存在着一些不足 ,但他们以学生为中心的教学原则和新颖、灵活多样的教学方法给学生带来较好的学习效果 ,受到大多数学生的认可与欢迎。
The foreign teachers' ESL (English as a Second Language) teaching in China has drawn wide attention from teachers and experts. This paper presents a questionnaire survey on ESL classroom teaching of four British teachers in Jiangxi Institute of Education. The questionnaire contains the following contents: their teaching principles, teaching methods, teaching effects and some teaching problems to be solved. The result shows that their student-centered ESL classroom teaching principle and their new and flexible teaching methods have brought about good effects and are generally accepted by most of the students in the department.
