摘要
某些碟状近晶相液晶具有铁电和热电性质。最简单的铁电液晶是近晶 C相(碟状近晶 c 相)。文章综述了铁电液晶的电光效应、器件结构、取向方法和主要应用。报道了作者对复合铁电液晶材料的最新研究成果。
Some of smectic mesophase liquid crystals exhibit both ferro- electric and pyroelectric properties.The simplest ferroelectric liquid crystal phase is the smectic C~* phase.In this paper,the electrooptic effect of ferro- electic liquid crystals,device configurations,crystal orientation and main applications are reviewed.Recent progress made in liquid crystal composite materials in our laboratory is reported.
