Essence and Pragmatic Reasoning of English Progressive Aspect

英语进行体是英语特有的动词语法范畴。首先从英语进行体的描绘、表情以及修辞等三个语义功能方面 ,阐述了英语进行体的实质 ,然后尝试以认知为基础 ,结合语用推理方式 ,分析了说话者运用英语进行体的意义。

In English progressive aspect,there are three semantic functions,i.e. function of description,of expression and of rhetoric from which the nature of progress ive aspect is elaborated. Then on the basis of cognition,the author tries to ma ke an analysis of the speakers use of progressive aspect in combination with p ragmatic reasoning.
