摘要
听力理解过程中存在的种种干扰因素常常造成部分信息丢失,影响了听力理解的效果,而语言固有的冗余信息又为成功的听力理解提供了条件。掌握和了解英语中的冗余信息对英语学习者提高听力水平和听力教师提高教学水平能提供一定的帮助。
Presence of many distracters in listening often leads to partial loss of information. However, the information redundancy intrinsic in language always contributes to successful listening comprehension. A classification of the salient information redundancy in English and a simple analysis of its favorable influence upon listening comprehension will be helpful to both English learners and English listening teachers.
