The dimension of array name and it's relationship to the pointer in C language are discussed in this paper. It is easy to make mistake in teaching C Language. The internal connection of sentences of array defining and array using is summarized as 'Raise and Drop Method'. It is used to judge if the using of array and pointer is correct in dimension judgement.
