"文学概论"教学所面临的困境是不争的事实,这要求我们要以批判的眼光去对待现行教材,要根据所学专业有甑别地使用。同时,在教学内容上要做到在"通"的基础上突出鲜明的"师范性",以适应师范生服务社会的需要;在教法上,能以创新的精神突破传统教学方法,进行开放式教学,改革现有考核模式,以此提高"文学概论"的教学效果。

The undeniable difficulty in the instruction of Theory of Literature makes it necessary to handle the prevailing textbooks critically and use them according to different specialties. And the content of the course should also be expanded to lay stress on the teacher-training aspect so that the students from normal colleges can serve society well upon graduation. Meanwhile, reforms should be carried out in the traditional teaching and grading methods to improve the quality of teaching Theory of Literature.
