A Comparative Study of Education and Teaching in China and in America

中美两国政治、经济、社会及文化背景不同,其教育都有一个本国特色的发展与创新问题。两国在发展与创新本国特色教育的过程中,可以相互借鉴、取长补短。因此,本文重在对中美教育、教学、英语教学及英语教师培训诸方面进行比较、评论。

China and America have different political, economic, social and cultural background and they are both faced with the task of developing education with their own characteristics. So they can learn from each other in the course of their educational development and innovation. In this paper, a comparative study is made about education, teaching, English teaching and English teacher training in these two countries and at the same time some comments are made in these respects.
