摘要
我国自创建公安学以来,学科建设无论是在理论层面还是技术层面都得到了长足发展,并独具特色。伴随全球化进程,世界范围内的警察文化交流日益密切,并相互影响,比较警察学也呼之欲出,中国人民公安大学研究生部于2001年增设中外警察比较研究方向,是比较警察学发展的一个里程碑。笔者就创造比较警察学的研究范围、方法、步骤和特征等作一简要探讨。
