摘要 《日出》并不是一部严谨的现实主义作品,它不是“忠实地再现生活”的结果。陈白露的悲剧命运虽有一定的现实根源,但她的伦理缺憾更多的来源于遥远的基督教原罪说。陈白露的现世生活是一种变相的寄生生活,在曹禺的人类学哲学的生命视野里,这一部都市交际花悲情传奇,其历史底本是存放在《旧约·创世记》所载的那个神秘的伊甸园中的。研究陈白露这一形象是准确把握《日出》甚至是全面理解曹禺早期创作的一个重要环节。 The Sunrise is not a precise realistic novel, and not a result of “a faithful display of the life” as well. Chen Biaolu’s tragedy might be partly due to the realism, but more of the reasons should be traced back to the doctrine of the original sins in Christianity. Her life in the world was an autoecious one, and in the eyes of the author’s human philosophy this novel is a woeful legend of an urban hetaera. The history of the legend was covered in the mysterious Eden of the Old Testament, and therefore, study of the character of Chen Biaolu is one of the important taches in precisely grasping the Sunrise and eventhe author, Caoyu’s early literary works.
