摘要
在正压流体中,两个相互作用的非线性Rossby波满足一耦合的非线性Schr(?)dinger方程组。文献[1]研究了此方程组的包络孤立波及其碰撞相互作用解。本文对比方程组的周期波动解及其稳定性进行了研究,得到了有关稳定和不稳定的判据。
Two interacting nonlinear Rossby waves in the barotropic fluids can be described by a set of coupled nonlinear Schrodinger equations. In the previous paper the equations are solved analytically and numerically to discuss the behavior of the envelope solitary waves and their collision interactions. In the present paper the periodic wave solutions and their stability of the equations are investigated and the criteria for stability and instability are obtained.
