深度报道在纸质媒体竞争中占有一席之地。在中国近百年的历史进程中，我国报刊的深度报道也经历着历史演变。第一阶段为深度报道的探索期从辛亥革命始；第二阶段为深度报道的自觉期；第三阶段为深度报道的成熟期。

In-depth report enables paper-medium to be in an ininciable position in the fierce competition of mass medium. In the past one hundred years, in-depth report in Chinese press has gone through three stages: the exploration period, the consciousness period and the maturation period.
