朱熹与李退溪仁政说之比较

A Comparison between Zhu Xi and Yi Hwang In Their Theories of Benevolent Government

朱熹的仁政说与李退溪的仁政说既有相同点,也有不同点。两人都主张,要实现仁政的王道政治理想,必须要有德才兼备的君主去实施;为了使仁政能顺利实施,必须限制君权。其不同点在于:朱熹仁政说是客观之理所必须,李退溪仁政说是内在本性之必然;朱熹仁政说不无手段之嫌,李退溪仁政说是目的本身。通过对二者异同的比较分析,可以为我们的政治文明建设提供借鉴。

Zhu Xi's and Yi Hwang's theories of benevolent government have some similarities as well as differences.Both of them insist that the monarchical ideal of benevolent government should be realized by the monarch of ability and virtue,and,to put the theory into practice,monarchical power should be limited.They also differ in their theories.In Zhu Xi's eyes,the theory is an objective must,while Yi Hwang considers it to be a necessity of internal nature.Zhu Xi takes it only as a means,but Yi Hwang regards it as a purpose.Such comparison can give some enlightenment for our construction of political civilization.
