农业法基本原则是指在农业法制定、实施及主体参加农业活动中应当遵循的基本准则。其内容主要包括 :保障农业在国民经济中的基础地位原则、维护农民和农业生产经营组织的合法权益原则、依法治农原则、坚持科教兴农原则、实现农业可持续发展原则、遵循自然法则原则等。

The basic principles of agricultural law are the fundamental criteria to be followed in the process of making and enforcing of the law and in carrying out agricultural activities. The principles include guaranteeing the fundamental position of agriculture in the national economy, protecting farmers' rights, managing agriculture by law, developing agriculture by means of science and education, realizing the sustainable development of agriculture, and following the law of nature.
