Analysis on International Trade in Chinese Cities after WTO Accession

入世后我国城市外贸发展仍然存在着区域间在总量及增长率方面的不平衡。未来几年,城市外贸仍将高度集中于沿海地区的一些重点城市,但其分布会有所变化。北部沿海地区的天津、北京、大连、青岛、沈阳等城市,由于近年来吸引外资的迅速增长,将会成为外贸快速增长的地区。中西部地区总体落后,但个别沿边城市和少数条件好的大城市具有快速增长的潜力。发展我国城市外贸要积极推进我国的城市化进程,提高我国的外贸进出口水平;充分发挥各城市自身的比较优势,形成出口的产品特色,中西部地区外贸的发展应该有的放矢,选准突破口。

The paper analyzes international trade after WTO accession in Chinese cities.Statistics show after WTO accession,the interna- tional trade is very inequitably distributed in Chinese cities with foreign trades concentrated in coastal area.This situation will continue for a few years,but changes will also occur.The cities in north coastal area like Beijing,Tianjin,Dalian,Qingdao,Shenyang,will be the new center for foreign trade.The cities in west and center of China will still face difficulties although few cities,which are located in the border or have good infrastructure maybe have potential for fast growth.
