Pear fruit characters affect the value and the edibility directly. The inheritances of Pear fruit characters, including size, shape, peel color, flavor, flesh, fruit core, stone cell, seedlessness, spot, skin thickness, stalk length and juice are reviewed to afford some references for pear breeding.
