论汉字学理论建设与汉字教学

On the Relations between the Theory of Chinese Characters and the Teaching of Chinese Characters

汉字教学有着悠久的历史传统,也积累了很多有益的经验。但从20世纪以来,这一传统受到冲击,汉字教学在相当长的时间里一直处于低效率之中。汉字教学的成功与否关系到文化与教育的普及问题,汉字识字教学的不足有多方面的原因,其中一个重要方面是汉字学本体理论建设问题。20世纪90年代以来,汉字学理论研究有了进展,这对汉字教学必将起到重要的指导作用。

Teaching Chinese characters had a long and profound tradition in China.Nevertheless,the tradition has been challenged since the early times of the 20th century.And in the process of the teaching of Chinese characters lots of difficulties emerged.There are many reasons why we could not teach Chinese characters efficiently.It is sufficient to point out the deficiency of the theory of Chinese characters.In the 90's of the 20th century a discipline about the structural system of Chinese characters has been established and the discipline would be helpful to the development of the teaching of Chinese characters.
