Analysis of 42 Fatal Cases in SICU

本文总结SICU危重病人中死亡病例42例。阐述了SICU死亡病种分布状况。归纳提出:创伤、感染→休克→ARDS或/和DIC→MOF→死亡的病理变化过程,突出强调ARDS和DIC在病程中的重要地位和相互关系。同时就感染的防治提出建议,并列举了医源性脏器衰竭的常见原因。目的在于进一步认识外科危重病人的病理机制,提高SICU的抢救成功率。

The distribution of primary diseases in 42 fatal patients in SICU is reviewed. The pathogenesis common to these cases is summarized to be trauma or infection→shock→ARDS and/or DIC→MOF→death. The major roles of ARDS and DIC as well as their interrelationship in the development of the pathologic process is stressed. Measures for the prevention and treatment of infection in the course of the disease are proposed. The common causes of iatrogenic organ failure are listed. This study is aimed at the further understanding of the mechanism of the pathophysiological changes which occur in these critical patients, so as to increase the survival rate in SICU.
